Packaging illustration and typography design for Jaffal Chocolates, a Rhode-Island-based chocolate maker. The packaging concept was inspired by the owner's love of animals, and the tropical climate where cacao grows.

 

As the cacao content increases, and the chocolate gets darker, the sun gradually sets in the background of each bar. Each bar features a different pollinator and consumer of cacao pods.
