Alma Artist Studios
This mural was painted in the summer of 2020 in Baltimore, Maryland on the exterior of the Alma Artist Studios: a space for community art making and private studio spaces.
Concept
The site of these studios was the Alma Manufacturing Company, a factory producing clothing buttons and fasteners.
When coming up with the concept for the mural, it was important to maintain some elements representative of the history of this space.
